Dyslexia Support & Literacy Intervention

Dyslexia support that begins with Brain Integration Therapy and builds structured literacy on a calmer, more integrated nervous system.

What Families Have Experienced

When Reading is a Struggle

If your child is struggling with reading, spelling, or writing, you may be seeing signs of dyslexia or a language-based learning difference.

You might notice:

  • difficulty decoding words
  • slow or effortful reading
  • challenges with spelling or writing
  • frustration, avoidance, or loss of confidence

These challenges can impact not only academic progress, but also a child’s sense of capability and willingness to engage in learning.

A Different Approach to Dyslexia Support

Our work is grounded in Brain Integration Therapy (BIT) as the nervous system layer that supports how the brain learns to read, write and process information. Read more Brain Integration Therapy

Within this integrated foundation, we use IMSE Orton-Gillingham–based literacy intervention, a structured, evidence-based approach designed to support how the brain learns to read.

At the same time, learning does not happen in isolation. Attention, emotional regulation, and relational safety all play a role in how effectively a child can engage and grow. Our integrated approach supports more stable, confident, and sustainable learning over time, with BIT as a steadying base underneath the literacy work.

What Sessions May Include

Each child presents uniquely, and sessions are adapted accordingly.

Support may include:

  • Brain Integration Therapy as a foundational layer – 10‑session protocol:
Each session has a specific learning goal to support how the brain and body work together during literacy and beyond. Designed to help attention, processing, and emotional regulation become more stable and coordinated
  • Explicit, structured literacy instruction (Orton-Gillingham–based)
  • Reading fluency and comprehension activities
  • Spelling and written language development
  • Strategies for attention, engagement, and processing support
  • Support for reducing frustration and building self-advocacy
  • Support for broader process of growth, regulation, and confident identity formation over time

For Parents

If you are navigating dyslexia or learning differences with your child, you are not alone.

This work provides space to:

  • better understand how your child learns
  • gain clarity around next steps
  • feel more supported in the process

Its is important to know that dyslexia reflects differences in how the brain processes written language—not a lack of intelligence or ability. With the right support, learners can develop effective, lasting skills for life and learning.
